I tried one of these on I bought them at our neighborhood Walmart and the first cast got a crappie second cast another three and fourth cast again. Easiness to say I use these lure every time even the turtles like them . put the white minnow on and first cast an 8-pound bass.

First bought a Wildeye about 4 months ago. Bought all the colors since then, as they really attract fish. My only problem is that only the largest Crappie can actually get their mount around size 3" wild eye's, and finding 2" ones is hard here along the Florida coast. I solved that problem by ordering a complete set here on Amazon
